Welcome! I'm so glad you found your way to my site, The Lantern & The Lamb.

I started this site as a resource for anyone new to Catholicism, returning after some time away, or for anyone who just wanted to delve deeper into the religion or find some useful information. I fall into that last category.

Several months ago, while sitting in a pew during Sunday Mass Homily, I had the sudden thought how Mass could be confusing for anyone who hasn't been to Church in quite some time, or someone who was looking for information on Catholicism. I thought how something like that would be helpful for me too. I'm a born and raised Catholic, achieved all of my sacraments through my local parish, would attend Mass occasionally, but would privately/quietly pray frequently throughout every single day.

Within the last eight months or so, I've found a deeper desire and calling to return to my faith, to learn more about Catholicism, to reinvest myself into the faith, to spread information about it. It's intensified and I feel like rediscovering my Catholic identity has led to almost a reconversion. And I'm truly enjoying it!
